She hides within,
her own lies…

Knowing he doesn’t,
Or wont ever love her…

She pretends he would,
Fight for her,
Stand by her through,
All the plagues of life…

The only way she can close,
Her eyes at night,
Is to pretend his,
Soul coheres with hers…

Knowing that one day,
He will not be lying,
next to her…

But she stays with him,
In hopes that he will,
See through her surface…
