Do you see...
I long for everything,
But I long for nothing,
I yearn for the rain to splash against my skin,
Erasing all the scares,
But with every drop, 
I wish for lighting to strike my body,
Driving me deep into the darkness,

Maybe I am drawn to pain...
My own self-destruction,
I am beyond saving,
I do not need deliverance,

Requiring the afflictions...
Of the past crimes placed upon my soul and body,
Giving me the inspiration to fight back,
Never give-in,
It has opened my eyes to strengths, 
That I didn't know I had within myself,

Who would I be without it,
How would I survive without it...
