My head is pounding,

My eyes are weary,

Want to eat, but can’t stomach the food,

My body weak,

Needing to put it into motion,

Not much time left, to pull it together,

The paikillers arent working,

My jaws ache from grinding my teeth, while I slept,

The light is overwhelming, as if it’s pushing nails through eyes,

Can’t remove the invisible headband from my hair,

If I could just curl up for 5 more mins, I tell myself,

Lift my head but feels like it weighs tons,

The pain overwhelming,

I must not let it,

Steal my day….
